Born into a family with over 500 years of Swiss winemaking heritage, Hans made the bold decision to leave tradition behind in pursuit of something greater: the perfect terroir to realise his vision of creating world-class wines. That journey led him to Marlborough, New Zealand, where he and Therese founded the renowned Hans Herzog Estate.
Today, their family-run estate is regarded as one of New Zealand's most respected boutique wineries, producing just 2,000 cases annually. Every bottle reflects an uncompromising commitment to quality, from organic viticulture and hand-picked fruit to natural winemaking practices and meticulous attention to detail.
